This past weekend, our house was full of laughter, splashes, and a whole lot of Peppa Pig as we celebrated Andie’s 2nd birthday! Friends and family came from near and far to make her day extra special — and it truly was.
We couldn’t have asked for better weather — a warm, sunny 82 degrees with just enough breeze to keep things comfortable. Perfect for a backyard party and a little poolside fun!
The theme? Peppa Pig, of course! The party space was decked out with colorful balloons, a Peppa family cake that looked almost too cute to eat, and matching cookies that were almost too cute not to eat. Adding to the magic, we had Perry the Magician, who amazed the kids (and let’s be honest — the adults, too) with his tricks before crafting balloon animals that brought out big smiles all around.
The food spread was just as exciting as the entertainment — fresh pizza, a cheese and meat charcuterie board, tasty sandwiches, and Mom’s famous homemade potato salad that’s practically a party tradition at this point.
After enjoying the food, the pool called our names. We all swam, relaxed in the hot tub, and soaked up the sunshine. Andie’s two favorite dogs, Teddy and Pea, were there along with Tara, the family dog — all three happily soaking in the action (and maybe hoping for a snack or two).
When it was time to sing Happy Birthday, Andie’s smile lit up the whole backyard. She blew out her candles like a pro while everyone cheered. We can’t believe you are already two — how the time flies!
We were so lucky to have so many loved ones there to celebrate:
- Grandma and Grandpa
- Nonna and Papa, who flew in with Uncle Keith and Auntie Kirstin — plus cousins Kinsley (3) and Stevie Kate (2)
- Cousins Olivia, Kate, Ella, Josh, Liam, Finley, and Owen
- Friends and neighbors — including a special appearance from Alice, one of Andie’s absolute favorites!
It was a day filled with love, laughter, magic, sunshine, and plenty of Peppa. Happy Birthday, sweet Andie — you are so loved!

“I turned TWO and had the best Peppa Pig birthday ever! It was sunny and warm, and we had pizza, sandwiches, a charcuterie board, and Mom’s famous potato salad before swimming in the pool. Perry the Magician did amazing tricks and made balloon animals, and my favorite dogs Teddy, Pea, and Tara joined the fun. Grandma, Grandpa, Nonna, Papa, lots of cousins, friends, and neighbors came — and Alice was there too! We sang Happy Birthday, I blew out my candles, and ate yummy cake. Being two is awesome!”
